Annual convention

Our 2013 annual convention is taking place in Leicester on 12 and 13 November.

In 2012 we welcomed over 600 delegates to our annual convention in Bristol.

It was  a jam-packed two days with a wide range of workshops, masterclasses and debates. We covered everything from Community Rights to community organising – from accessing European funding to opening a community pub. View the Locality ’12 programme.

We also heard from some inspiring speakers: Lord Victor Adebowale of Turning Point who opened the convention, to David Robinson of Community Links, our final speaker.

We’ve uploaded some photos from the event to our facebook page. See if you’ve been snapped.

Speakers

David Robinson of Community Links gave the final keynote speech and set out what he believes to be the five key principles of our movement.
