The Locality led Asset Transfer Unit is the leading provider of expert advice, guidance and support concerning the transfer of under-used land and buildings from the public sector to community ownership and management.

The Unit has a wide range of tools and resources to help organisations to develop assets and deliver long-term social, economic and environmental benefits.  These include legal, business planning and strategy support, as well as a help-line service.
