Commission on the Future of Localism – Evidence hearing

Localism, Policy

Locality, in association with Power to Change, has established a Commission on the Future of Localism to investigate what is needed to reinvigorate local democracy and empower communities.

We are inviting you to join the Commission for our next consultation event in Manchester on the 18th September, 10.30am – 2pm, followed by a buffet lunch 2pm – 3pm.

We will be discussing the potential of the devolution agenda to deliver ‘onward devolution’ to neighbourhoods and strengthen local economies. We will be examining the role of civil society in shaping devolution and are working in partnership for this event with the VCS Reference Group for Greater Manchester and VS6 Liverpool City Region VCS Partnership.
