Dragons’ Den
We are offering five Locality members the chance to pit their wits against our Community Enterprise Dragons for the chance to win £5,000 of investment plus business support to get your social enterprise idea up and running.

Who should attend
Locality ’11 is ‘must go’ event for all Locality members and anyone else who is transforming, or looking to transform, their local area through community enterprise, social action and community asset ownership and development. Others who will benefit include:

Bursaries
A limited number of bursaries are available to assist Locality member organisations who would otherwise be unable to attend the convention. If you are interested in applying for a bursary please contact Deepa Mistry at for an application form. The deadline for applying for a bursary is Friday 21 October 2011.

Locality’11 offers a great opportunity to promote your organisation’s activities, products and services to the largest national gathering of development trusts, settlements, social action centres and community enterprise practitioners and supporters.

Accommodation
Please be aware that accommodation is not included in the delegate fee for the convention. Manchester city centre offers a wide range of accommodation options that will suit all budgets. Locality’s events team have identified a few hotel options that are within or very close to the convention venue whic we hope delegates will find useful.
The Palace Hotel
This is the main convention hotel where all of the sessions and the dinner will be taking place. Please note all rooms that Locality have been holding for Locality’11 delegates have now been taken, if you would like to book a room at this hotel please contact the hotel directly.
