Places and Spaces: A parliamentary event on the future of community asset ownership

Assets, Policy

Join Locality for a lively parliamentary event on the future of community asset ownership, open to Locality members and invited partners.

At Convention ’16, we launched our Places and Spaces: The future of community asset ownership paper which sought to breathe fresh life into the community assets agenda. We set out how a programme of co-ordinated investment could support communities to transform the places they live.

Now, we want Locality members and invited partners to join us in the House of Commons to discuss with leading politicians how we make it a reality. Expect a panel discussion with a high-level audience of policymakers and key stakeholders from the community sector.

Speakers include: Louise Haigh MP, Jason McCartney MP, Vidhya Alakeson, Chief Executive of Power to Change and Andy Jackson, Heeley People’s Park.
