Events Co-ordinator

Organisation: Town Hall, Hebden Bridge

Salary: £20-22,052 pa (calculated pro-rata based on a 37.5hr FTE), 30 hours per week.

Closing date: 20/07/2017 Interview date: Thursday 25th July 2017, Starting date – as soon as possible preferred.

The Town Hall was born with a vision to make it the centre of the town’s life. The range of special events held here along with the building’s role as the hub for many of Hebden Bridge’s popular festivals make it an amazing, vibrant place: it’ll be your job to maintain and develop this range.

You will be responsible for the planning, management and delivery of the room-hires, events, weddings and other functions here working with our Events Assistant, our Cafe and a diverse range of local people and organisations.

If you can ensure that our regular room-hirer’s needs are met whilst dealing with major events like a forthcoming wedding booking and plans for a weekend festival, whilst being part of a team who cover each other’s roles as necessary and balance the many competing demands of a big building, a substantial footfall and a small staff team, then we’d love to hear from you.

This is a public-facing role, in the spotlight a lot of the time and provides an amazing opportunity to shape the life of the Town Hall.
