Paid Fundraising and Development Internship

An ideal entry-level opportunity for someone who wishes to pursue a career in the charity and social enterprise sector.

Cambridge House has been operating as a social action centre and community anchor in South London since 1889. We provide frontline specialist services to vulnerable children and adults and to individuals and families in crisis. These include free legal advice, independent advocacy, and a range of education and inclusion services.

We are offering a 12-month full-time paid internship for a high achieving graduate or postgraduate who is proactive, creative and willing to take on a variety of tasks in a collaborative manner.

This internship includes training and could lead to permanent paid positions. Our ideal candidate will be rigorous and analytical and have:

  • Excellent writing, proof reading and editing skills in English Numerical ability
  • Strong MS Office competencies and social media and/or web-based communications skills
  • Research experience
  • Commitment to our vision of a society without poverty where all people are valued, treated equally and lead fulfilling and productive lives.
