Health for All, work in partnership with local government, health services and local people to engage with and improve disadvantaged communities. Health for All (Leeds) Ltd is working in partnership with Aspire Community Benefit Society and Purple Patch Arts, on a new Time to Shine Learning Disability Project, within Health for All’s The Bridge project.

They are seeking to appoint a Community Development Project Coordinator for the new Time to Shine Learning Disability Programme.

The aim of the project is to reduce social isolation of, and provide meaningful social contact for older people (50+) with learning disabilities, by putting them in contact with social opportunities and/or arranging suitable activities for them. The successful applicant will set up the project including conducting mapping exercises of existing social activities and produce publicity for the new service.

Salary: £23,000 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week

Funded Until: July 2019

Health for All is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
