Locality ’16: Fringes and sugeries
Surgeries are ME time: when you can speak to an expert for advice on an issue that’s on your mind.
Legal advice – with Sarah Patrice, Anthony Collins Solicitors
Sarah will answer your legal queries on legal structures, board issues, governance arrangements and community asset transfer. If there is another legal query that you have then please do ask; if Sarah doesn’t know the answer, she can probably find out for you!
Is something worrying you at work? Is your CEO not engaged? Do your Board not get on? Are there troubles with your finances? Come and meet with one of our staff team in confidence. We’ll provide advice and support that can help you resolve your issue. Register your interest in advance here. (advance booking recommended but not required)
Recharge your batteries at the Locality e-café! Enjoy tea, coffee and refreshments while you relax and recharge your phones, tablets and laptops at our Charging Hub. Experts will also be on hand during the breaks to chat about everything tech – so drop by the Exhibition Hall for some advice from our friendly team.
Fringe meetings are the time when YOU take control of the agenda! Fringe meetings will take place on Tuesday at 5.30pm.
Join us at this Trustees-only meeting where we can meet, swap ideas, and hear how the Boards of different organisations are tackling current challenges of governance, strategy and working with paid staff. We’ll be joined by Big Society Capital to hear about their ‘get Informed’ campaign to offer support, guidance and information to help board members of charities and social enterprises understand the opportunities and risks of social investment.
