Third Sector Premises Report 2013

Assets, London and South East region

This report is the last in a series which have been commissioned by the London Third Sector Premises Forum (of which Locality is a member).

The Third Sector Premises Reports aim to give a comprehensive overview of third sector accommodation issues across London. For example, what is the current status of key policy and practice and how are council approaches towards budget cuts, strategic asset management, asset transfer, rate relief, rent, localism and community rights affecting the third sector in relation to accommodation.

It underlines the amount of time it takes for policy to develop into practice, the importance of the economic drivers to the issues that the research has looked at over time and the need for collaboration between funders, government, statutory agencies and voluntary and community organisations to overcome issues as they arise to meet their jointly held objectives.

You can download the report below, plus the launch event report and presentations by the report author Lorraine Hart and John Kerridge from the London Borough of Lambeth.
