The Ouseburn Trust was established as an independent development trust for the Ouseburn Valley in 1996. Currently, it manages properties, promotes regeneration, develops heritage initiatives (including tours of the award-winning Victoria Tunnel), and works with others for a vibrant, diverse and sustainable future for the historic Ouseburn Valley in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Trust is seeking a new Chair to lead the organisation at an exciting time for the Trust and for the Ouseburn Valley, with significant change on the horizon in terms of new residential and commercial development and growth of heritage activity and environmental enhancement.

The new Chair will act as an ambassador for the Trust, working alongside the Chief Officer to build profile and confidence as the Trust embarks on a new period of property development, and the growth of its heritage and environment initiatives.

We are also seeking an additional Trustee to join our Board.
