Culture Mile is a new cultural area in the City of London. It is led by the Museum of London, Barbican, London Symphony Orchestra and Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

It aims to attract thousands of schoolchildren and other learners every year, and to help young people realise their potential by developing their skills.

This opportunity is a great first step onto a creative career path in a friendly team who will support your development.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Culture Mile Learning team, which works with 26 cultural partners, including Tower Bridge, Epping Forest and St Paul’s Cathedral, on joint teacher training, schools’ visits, work experience, skills development programmes and other London-wide partnership projects.

You will provide administrative support to the team, including answering calls and replying to emails from the public, checking diaries, helping to book meetings and assisting with planning and delivering activities.

We are looking for someone who is organised with good communication skills and who likes working as part of a team. You should have an interest in creativity and cultural activity, eg attending gigs or festivals, taking part in a choir, enjoying art or coding activities, playing an instrument, visiting museums or galleries, going to the theatre, watching films, or participating in drama or other creative activities at school or youth clubs.
