Join us at our next Health and Wellbeing network meeting at T&T2, Time and Talents’ second community centre, Surrey Quays, London.

Our agenda includes:

  • hear from our host, Sarah Gibb, Director at Time and Talents, about their health and wellbeing model
  • what opportunities does the NHS Long Term Plan bring around Primary Care Networks and social prescribing? Dan Hopewell, Director at Bromley by Bow Centre will present and lead a discussion around community health partnerships with GPs.
  • workshop on new action-research project by Royal Society of Public Health: What’s the impact of ‘Community Spirit’ on health and wellbeing? How do we create commissioning and funding environments that prioritise community approaches?

Locality are working in partnership with RSPH on a new research project. This project is funded by the Health Foundation and will examine the role of community in shaping our health We would like to test some of the key themes and discuss the outcomes for this project including: - What’s the impact of ‘Community Spirit’ on health and wellbeing? - What are the commissioning and funding environments needed to prioritise community approaches?
