About this event

This national conference brings together leaders and practitioners from local government and community organisations – the leading lights in the growing Keep it Local movement that’s gathering pace. Expect insight, debates and practical workshops on the Keep it Local approach and what it means for your community.

Up and down the country, councils and communities are coming together to transform their places. More and more places recognise the huge challenges local communities face – including long-term austerity and rising pressure on services – and are looking to do things differently: building strong local partnerships, sharing power and maximising their local strengths. They are harnessing the power of community:

  • For better services that transform lives
  • To reduce pressure on the public sector
  • To invest in the local economy

Join us on 12 June to learn from peers, and explore new ideas for what Keep it Local could mean in your community.
