About this event

Join us at Locality member Manor House Development Trust for our next Keep it Local Network event.

This session will investigate how commissioning local community organisations to provide services can transform lives – and how to prove it. We’ll hear about impact measurement and the ways community organisations can demonstrate the local social and economic value they generate. And we’ll hear about work Locality has done with Hackney Council on keeping it local and what the future holds in the borough.

We’ll also explore what it means to Keep it local in practice. We’ll facilitate discussion groups to co-design the principles which should underpin this approach, and the practical challenges local authorities face.

Confirmed speakers:
Simon Donovan, Chief Executive, Manor House Development Trust
Polly Billington, Councillor for de Beauvoir ward in Hackney
Jim Minton, Chief Executive Toynbee Hall
