As part of the London Recovery Building Stronger Communities ‘Festival of Ideas’, we are holding an event to explore what a “community hub” is.

Most people probably think of a physical building at the heart of a neighbourhood. But over the last year we have seen more and more organisations delivering activities and services online. What have we learnt from the Covid pandemic about the role of hubs…and if your community is one of interest, not of place where is your hub?

At this event we’ll hear a number of perspectives, exploring what is the essential community hub and what can we do to ensure access for all Londoners.  You will:

  • Hear about our continuing research on the future of business models
  • Learn from some fantastic speakers reflecting on the experiences in their communities.
  • Engage with other community organisations across London and talk about their perspectives on what a community hub is.

This event is open to all London-based community organisations whether Locality members or not.
