About this event

On 6 May a bumper crop of elections will be held in England. Over 5,000 councillors and mayors will be elected in local authorities of all types.

This is a big moment in English local politics. The sheer number of elections resulting from the postponement of many from 2020 means that there will be a lot of new councillors taking their seats around the country.

This is, therefore, also a big moment for influencing locally and an opportunity for more places to engage in Locality’s Keep it Local campaign.

In this session you will:

  • Get a run-down of our post-election analysis – what happened and what does it mean?
  • Hear about some of the ways in which you can go about influencing locally
  • Find out about our Keep it Local campaign and how you can get your local council involved.

If you’d like to find out more about how you can engage with your council, either on specific issues or Locality’s big campaigns sign up for this session today.
