There is constant pressure in the sector to deliver more with the same, or fewer, resources.
Digital technologies offer even the smallest organisations the potential to improve efficiency and effectiveness, but can be daunting to adopt and implement successfully. Many organisations adopt an ad hoc approach, sometimes quickly responding to a specific difficulty or opportunity that presents itself. But without proper planning and consideration, a new system may not deliver the benefits that were hoped for, or worse, a bad experience may deter staff and board members from adopting new systems altogether.
