About this event

Get together with people like you
Our Power of Community network meetings give you the chance to develop your skills and be inspired by the work of others. They take place all around the country and are free for community members.

This event is hosted by St Luke’s Parochial Trust at the St Luke’s Community Centre

St Luke’s Trust works for a welcoming, living, neighbourly community in south Islington by providing services and a hub for all local people and organisations to work, play and learn. In particular it seeks to address the most pressing social needs in the area (including child poverty, unemployment, poor health, and isolation and poverty among older people) and recognises those individuals and communities who suffer the greatest social inequality and exclusion.

Join us in London to

  • be inspired by members building a fairer society – through giving people a purpose, a good places to live and good health. You will hear from the host organisation, and others about their current projects
  • co-create Keep it Local principles for Local Authorities to sign up to become Keep it Local ambassadors
  • feed into Locality’s 5-year strategic plan
  • participate in a member-led problem solving session.

You can also book a 10 minute one to one session with a member of our specialist advice team or Senior Management Team to get advice on a range of challenges of queries.

Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, you’ll fit right in!

“One of the best things about Locality membership is access to a fantastic and widespread network of likeminded people and organisations who are all pushing boundaries and achieving.”
