Our Power of Community network meetings give you the chance to develop your skills and be inspired by the work of others. They take place all around the country and are free for community members.
This event is hosted by Manchester Settlement
Manchester Settlement has been transforming lives within their community for over 120 years. The services they provide out of their community resource centre, The Roundhouse, ‘help, support and empower local communities to achieve, be active citizens and fight inequality’. They focus on working with young people, enabling them to contribute positively to their wider communities.
Join us in Manchester to
- be inspired by members building a fairer society – through giving people a purpose, a good places to live and good health. You will hear from the host organisation, and others about their current projects
- co-create Keep it Local principles for Local Authorities to sign up to become
- Keep it Local ambassadors
- feed into Locality’s 5-year strategic plan
- participate in a member-led problem solving session.
You can also book a 10 minute one to one session with a member of our specialist advice team or Senior Management Team to get advice on a range of challenges of queries.
