Save our Spaces is Locality’s campaign to save our public buildings and spaces. For all of us. Forever.
We’re calling for a funding pot to help local community groups step-in to save public buildings and spaces for everyone through community ownership.
This event is hosted by Liberdade Community Development Trust at Gosforth Civic Theatre.
Liberdade is a community organisation running a number of performing arts, health and fitness initiatives and a cultural apprenticeship for people with learning disabilities. In 2016 they successfully completed the asset transfer of Gosforth Civic Theatre from Newcastle City council. The Theatre is now a multi-functional performance venue, coffee shop, garden and gallery space.
We look forward to seeing you there!
