About this event

Bristol City Funds: engaging with communities
Sue Turner Chief Executive at Quartet Community Foundation, will take us through the grants, investments, and areas of support identified for the Bristol City Funds. Using this knowledge, we will workshop different ways of reaching grassroots organisations, to engage and generate ideas within the local community.

Big Data, 5G and neighbourhoods: opportunities and challenges for community organisations
Large data sets are being analysed using computers to reveal patterns, trends, and associations, especially relating to human behaviour and interactions. We will introduce the concept of Big Data and 5G, guiding you through how you can use it to improve your organisation’s performance and effective engagement with your communities to support positive change.

Hosted by Knowle West Media Centre
Knowle West Media Centre will help us look at how Big Data and technology can be used to support people in making positive changes in their lives through creative solutions.
