Locality Convention Bursaries

We know that every penny counts, and when budgets are being cut, they have to stretch even further. That’s why we are pleased to be able to offer a small number of bursaries for those who can’t afford to attend Locality Convention ’19.

Eligibility criteria
We are committed to diversity in our work and encourage applications from all community organisations.

Bursaries are prioritised for Locality members, but if you are a non-member and would like to apply, please get in touch with us first at joinus@locality.org.uk

To be eligible to receive a bursary, applicants must:

  • not have received a bursary for Locality Convention ’18
  • be willing to contribute a blog for our website in the lead up to or immediately after the event

What’s covered by the bursary?

  • Convention delegate fee (one or two days, as required)
  • Travel and accommodation costs up to £200 (standard class rail fare, travel by taxi not permitted).
