The programme for unConvention is being created in partnership with our member organisations, and front-line experts from across the country.
What an inspiring event. To see all the amazing projects across the country and to be a part of Convention has broadened my horizons and made our vision more tangible. Thank you!
- Alix Digby-West, Poole Project Leader, The Power House

Join us on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November to get up to date on best practices and new approaches community organisations are taking to survive, adapt and thrive, and how collectively, we can best influence more support for our sector.

Be prepared to be energised and inspired when key players in the community sector come together at unConvention ‘20.

Get inspired with our two-day programme

Change is one thing that’s guaranteed during the recovery stage following the magnitude of the impact on communities and society from COVID -19. Everyone’s got a story to tell – so get involved. You’ll learn, get motivated, celebrate and commiserate with each other in the biggest community sector calendar event of the year. Because we’re going online, 2020’s unConvention will be even bigger and more accessible than ever.

Gain more knowledge and skills

Take part in our workshops led by experts; you’ll come away with the ideas, skills and practical tools you need to achieve more for your community to help you to build back better.

Get connected

Connect and network with Locality members and others using our simple 1 to 1 chat system.

Share challenges and solutions

Smaller break out groups in our interactive themed workshops with peers and experts are perfect for closer conversations and questions, or feel free to ask away during live plenary sessions: there’ll be opportunities to participate in polls, Q&As, and the ability to submit questions in chat.

Influence the bigger picture

Join the conversations with inspiring leaders, policymakers, thinkers and doers and get the voice of your local community heard.

Celebrate the power of community

Together we’ll celebrate our network of community organisations as we reveal how they’ve been transforming lives across the country.

unConvention ’20 programme

Our two-day unConvention programme is jam-packed with everything you need to help make your organisation stronger and more successful. Whether it’s inspiring speakers, hands-on workshops, or networking that gets you going, our digital unConvention has got it all.

See the unConvention programme

Inspiring because you hear about people who've done it. And it also takes your head away from the day to day grime.
