Attended the Convention conference last week and left feeling inspired and driven to continue delivering services and projects to support social mobility and community regeneration with a focus on building economy from the ground up!”

It offers unique access to the most inspiring and pioneering leaders, policy makers, thinkers and doers, whose ambitious work is transforming our communities.
Convention unites these national and local forces to share their collective knowledge, address current critical issues and discover new solutions to new challenges.
From face to face to digital
For the past 19 years, Convention has been held in different regional locations every November. This year, we’re going online to bring you our most unconventional Convention in the comfort of your own home or office.
We’re delighted and thrilled to introduce unConvention ’20. Our virtual equivalent event promises to deliver everything our delegates value and enjoy most about Convention, but in an excitingly different and more accessible way.
What’s happening at unConvention ’20
Get ready to join us on 10-11 November to get up to date on best practices and new approaches community organisations are taking to survive, adapt and thrive, and how collectively, we can best influence more support for our sector. Be prepared to be energised and inspired when key players in the community sector come together at unConvention ‘20.
You can take a look at what’s happening on the day with our jam-packed programme.
Inspiring, because you hear about people who've done it. And it also takes your head away from the day to day grime.

Don’t worry if you’re new to online events. Aside from not needing to travel or book a hotel, we’ll make sure you’ve got everything you need to show up in our virtual unConvention Hall!
What does it cost?
Following the impact of COVID-19 and our decision to go online, we’re not charging for tickets in our usual way.
