Convention Bursaries
This year, we have 15 Convention bursaries available for community organisations that cannot afford tickets but would benefit from attending.
What’s included?
Bursary recipients will receive a free two-day ticket, including the Awards dinner and up to £150 towards travel and accommodation expenses. If you live or work in Leicester, we will cover your ticket only.
Who can apply?
Your organisation needs to be all of the following:
- supporting people from racialised or other marginalised communities,
- a Locality member (either Essentials, Membership Plus or Network). Any fees due must be up to date.
- not have received a Convention bursary in 2024 or 2025,
- unable to otherwise afford tickets and expenses to join us at Convention.
How can I apply?
Complete our short form. We will process applications on a rolling basis until the funding has been allocated. Please apply early, as we don’t want you to miss out!
You’ll need to tell us a little bit about why you’d like a bursary and confirm you’re happy to share a few words about your experience of the event after you’ve attended.
