You’ve told us how much you gain from listening to our Power of Community meeting hosts, so throughout 2025 we’re taking you across the county to some really fascinating places with some great stories to tell!
In addition to hearing from our great host, there’ll be our usual mix of information, networking and discussion, led by our CEO, Tony Armstrong, and the Locality team.
Venue: Urban Hax Meanwhile Space, 43-45 Park Mall, Saddlers Centre, Walsall, WS1 1YS
Urban Hax responds to the fact that we can't rely solely on retail to fill the spaces in our town centre in a way that adds real value to the local economy. Thanks to a National Lottery Community Fund award, Urban Hax is now working with Walsall Council to manage meanwhile space and create makerspaces providing residents with places to learn new skills, share ideas and take advantage of shared tools and equipment. See for yourself what can be done with creative thinking... and a whole lot of persistence!
