helping us increase our relevance and sustainability

Provided a new way of looking at our major venue and a conceptual framework – community anchor – that facilitates dialogue with our local authorities. It is helping us increase our relevance and sustainability.

Networking with Locality members

The organisation has grown out of the Sure Start initiative and has had to respond to huge changes when the voluntary sector was no longer commissioned. As well as cost cutting, we focussed on our strengths and have been building partnerships with complementary organisations in Accrington. We are now building on our relationships with our local authorities using the community anchor model as a basis for this. Sharing ideas about transformation and sustainability would be very welcome.
