How we've helped

Energy efficiency assessment of community buildings

Locality undertook data research to explore social and environmental insights to set strategic priorities. A funding needs assessment was provided identifying community assets at risk of not meeting energy efficiency standards.

Capacity building programme

Locality is engaged by the borough council on a year-long project to work with their local volunteer led climate action group, building their governance capacity, independence and sustainability, providing specialist support on communications and developing a climate champions project.

Business & climate sustainability plan

Katakata is an African led community café which incorporates a community garden and provision for people with special educational needs. As part of the Power Up programme, Locality worked with the organisation and the local community to produce a climate impact report, a sustainability action plan and embedded this in an accessible plan for business growth.
