On 23 March, the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities announced that 83 projects had been awarded grants totalling £33.5 million, with Locality members awarded £6.9 million.
Thirty-six groups who received support through the Community Ownership Fund (COF) support programme, led by Locality, were successful in the latest announcements.

Ten of these projects received support through the COF support programme, with Locality providing support to eight of them plus a further three additional non-members:
- Bangladesh Youth and Cultural Shomiti
- Make it Sustainable Ltd
- Yellow Ribbon Community Chaplaincy

Over 300 projects have now been awarded a total of £101.3 million funding through the Community Ownership Fund, with 62 successful projects receiving support through the COF support programme in Round 3. Additional groups have been helped with their applications through the support programme resources and webinars.

Round 4 is the final round of the Community Ownership Fund and there will be two final windows for application.
Window 1 is open from 25 March 2024 to 10 April 2024.
Window 2 will open in late May. Specific timings for the final window will be published in due course.
With around £46m left in the funding pot and the likelihood of increasing competition, you are encouraged to apply as soon as you are ready.
