Locality’s new research report and action plan, Creating Places for Everyone, investigates the role of place-based community organisations in the pursuit of racial justice, and how we can support our members to make positive local change on this vital issue.
Over 18 months, against the backdrop of growing division, disconnection, and violence in our communities, we worked with members across the country to explore what it really means to achieve Locality’s vision of “a fair society where every community thrives”.
This has informed our “principled stance” – that there is no social justice without racial justice and places can only thrive when every group within them thrives.
