Locality is determined to create a space for Leaders of Colour for peer learning, personal development and capacity building. The co-designed agenda for each meeting aims to help meet individual needs, challenge the sector and seek development opportunities.
In this special workshop, we will be exploring methods to help you confidently communicate and show everyone the value you add to the sector as a Leader of Colour.
This event is open to all Locality members from communities experiencing racial inequity* with an Essentials, Membership Plus or Network package. If you do not have a membership package but would like to join this group please contact rosy.hearn@locality.org.uk.
’Communities experiencing racial inequity’ is a term we are using to describe people who have suffered disadvantage on the basis of their race – it replaces the term BAME as a way of being more specific about what we mean.
